The weather is cooler, and it is a great time to go birding! Join us in our pavilion to enjoy a tasty cup of coffee provided by The Friends of Lyonia Environmental Center while brushing up on some bird watching basics. We’ll venture out on the trails in Lyonia Preserve to observe some birds and discuss which species are visiting this time of year. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather, wear closed toe shoes, bring water, and be prepared to hike on unpaved sugar sand trails. This program is recommended for ages 18 and up.
